When I look at the grain in wooden objects I am always inspired. What looks like an abstract squiggle is actually a story of growth. The denser and darker a section of wood grain is the harder the winter was that year for the tree. I’ve been seeing this amazing part of nature popping up in magazines and stores recently guilded, cast, or reproduced in metallic colors. Here are a few of my favorite finds, which ones do you like?
